The role

As a Business Analyst, you’ll be part of the Finance & Legal team in Amsterdam with 6 other colleagues, and report directly to our Head of Finance. You will play a vital role in our organisation, contributing to the success of various projects and taking the lead in financial initiatives. Your main focus will be implementing and maintaining PowerBI, including setting up the data connections (together with Tech) and creating dashboards for key stakeholders. Other responsibilities will be:


  • To fulfil data and reporting requests, providing comprehensive and insightful analysis;

  • To give the MT and other stakeholders insights through various (monthly) reports;

  • To collaborate with the junior controller and conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks;

  • To participate in financial planning, budgeting, and performance evaluation;

  • To provide valuable insights to prominent clients, such as ID&T, Tomorrowland, and Paradiso, to drive their success.

Job requirements

  • You live in or around Amsterdam, or don’t mind travelling to work;

  • Around 4 years experience in an analytical role in finance;

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;

  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., PowerBI, SQL);

  • Experience with project management and financial projects;

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure;

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills;

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field;

  • Knowledge of the event industry is a plus.
